Deep Biswas
As well as holding an MPhil in Development Studies, which qualified me for opportunities to pursue PhD/DPhil study at the University of Cambridge and other leading institutions, I completed the two-year, full-time Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
I have held multiple roles within the UK Government’s International Development and Diplomacy Ministry, initially through the Civil Service Fast Stream - an accelerated leadership programme - and later as a general manager. My work largely centred on advancing the UK’s international aid efforts. Over my career, I have worked in over 10 countries (Ethiopia, India, Kenya, USA, Israel, Cote d'Ivoire, United Kingdom, Sudan, Tunisia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Uganda, Switzerland) gaining substantial international experience.
I have also had the unique opportunity to work in a foreign government when I served as a Special Adviser to the Chief of Planning for the City of Boston, while simultaneously founding my own consulting firm.
My career has spanned both the public and private sectors, with experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, entrepreneurship and international development. I am always open to connecting with those interested in these topics: [email protected].
