Odessa Volynsky
Hi! I’m Odessa, an Environmental Science & Policy undergrad at UC Irvine passionate about advancing global climate goals through corporate action. I'm especially interested in how clean energy transitions and leaner supply chains can be leveraged to drive sustainable growth without sacrificing financial priorities.
Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience across diverse settings centered around environmental impact and business development. By founding Odessa's Edible Flowers and scaling to service 9 Seattle restaurants and farmer's markets, I learned to wear the many hats of an entrepreneur, from coordinating crop harvest cycles to knocking on restaurant doors. As Farms for Life's Fundraising Chair, I helped improve access to fresh food in King County while navigating the policy barriers unique to nonprofits.
Most recently, I've been refining my approach to business strategy and people management by servicing clients across industries at McKinsey and leading student-consultant teams as Executive Vice President at 180 Degrees Consulting. In the future, I'm excited to bridge my climate policy background with my strategy experience and am looking for opportunities within the clean energy space.
Beyond career aspirations, I’m a student athlete on UCI’s rowing team, and athletics have always been a huge part of my life.
