Ryan Connor
I'm a strategic and operational leader focused on solving problems that drive positive social impact, particularly at the intersection of education, technology/AI, and institutional change.
I currently serve as Director of Strategic Initiatives at New York University, supporting strategic priorities for the President and Provost’s Office, including initiatives related to NYU’s global network and data/technology.
Previously, I spent five years at McKinsey & Company, supporting leaders across the private and social sectors, with a focus on education, workforce development, and philanthropy. I also recently completed a Master’s in Education at the University of Oxford, where I studied AI and technology’s impact on education and society.
Overall, I enjoy collaborating with high-performing, mission-driven teams to drive real impact, bringing structure to ambiguity, and helping organizations and leaders tackle large, complex challenges.
